| FOIL-GRILLED POTATOES AND ONIONS |

Submitted by: Aleta from Benton, Kentucky Preparation time: under 30 minutes Servings: 63 medium russet potatoes, scrubbed and thinly sliced 1 large onion, peeled and thinly sliced Garlic powder to taste Paprika to taste Salt and pepper to taste Butter Flavor CRISCO or Butter Flavor Crisco Stick Prepare large squares of heavy duty aluminum foil or aluminum foil baking "bags" with margarine, shortening, or cooking spray. Place a layer of potatoes and then sprinkle with seasonings and pats of Crisco stick. Put a layer of onions on top of potatoes, then another layer of potatoes on onions. Season again and place additional pats of Crisco stick. Wrap with foil, sealing edges and rolling toward center. Cook on hot grill, turning once, for 10-15 minutes. These may also be cooked in a 400ºF oven for the same length of time. Aleta recommends this as a side dish for camping trips.
