Preparation time: about 5 to 10 min Total time: about 30 to 40 minutes3 large baking potatoes 1/4 cup CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 1/4 CRISCO stick Paprika Salt Pepper Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) Heat oven to 425ºF. Melt Crisco shortening into 13x9x2 pan. Scrub potatoes.Cut potatoes lengthwise into quarters. Blot cut edges with paper towel. Put potatoes in pan. Turn to coat evenly with oil, leaving potatoes cut sides up in single layer. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, pepper and cheese, if used.Bake at 425ºF for 30 to 40 minutes or until fork tender. Serve plain or with sour cream. Add extra salt and pepper, if desired. 4 to 6 Servings |
