4 servings2 tablespoons CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 2 tablespoons CRISCO Stick 1 cup sliced green onions 1/2 pound fresh spinach, sliced (about 8 cups) 1/2 pound bok choy or Swiss chard, sliced (about 3 cups) 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons cider vinegar 2 tablespoons CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 2 tablespoons CRISCO Stick, melted Melt 2 tablespoons Crisco in a large skillet. Add green onions and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add spinach and bok choy. Stir and cook for 3 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Combine sugar and vinegar. Add to melted Crisco and stir to mix well. Pour over cooked vegetables and stir. Serve immediately. |
