6 Servings1/4 cup CRISCO shortening 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 2 cups diced cooked turkey 2 cups diced cooked potatoes 1 tablespoon snipped parsley 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 2/3 cup undiluted evaporated milk Melt Crisco in a saucepan. Add mushrooms and onion and sauté about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in turkey, potatoes, parsley, salt, and pepper. Gradually add evaporated milk, stirring gently. Heat mixture thoroughly (about 5 minutes). |
