| MARINATED GRILLED STEAKS |

Preparation time: 10 minutes Total time: 1-1/2 hours 6 servings 6 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 1/4 cups orange juice 6 tablespoons * CRISCO Oil 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 1/2 tablespoons jarred minced garlic ( or 2 large garlic cloves, peeled and minced) 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped 3 bay leaves, crumbled 1 1/2 tablespoons Italian seasoning 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 6 individual 6 to 8-ounce steaks, or 1 large (2-1/2 to 3 pounds) steak Combine wine, Crisco Oil, parsley, garlic, onion, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Add steaks. Marinate 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the size of steak and time available. Prepare grill or heat broiler. Remove meat from marinade. Discard marinade. Grill meat to desired doneness. Turn with tongs. Allow large steak to rest 5 minutes before carving. Serve immediately. *Use your favorite Crisco Oil product. |
