Makes 24 cupcakes Prep time: 20 minutes Bake time: 18-20 minutesCupcakes 1 18.25-ounce package Pillsbury® Moist Supreme® Cake Mix (your favorite flavor) 1 cup water 1/3 cup CRISCO Canola Oil 3 eggs Buttery Cream Frosting 4 cups confectioners' sugar 1/3 cup Butter Flavor CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 1/3 Butter Flavor CRISCO Stick 1 -1/2 teaspoons vanilla 7 - 8 tablespoons milk Red and Yellow food coloring, mixed to make orange Black food coloring (or 1/2 cup melted chocolate chips) Cupcakes Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line 24 cupcake pans with paper liners. Bake and cool cupcakes as directed on package using water, oil and eggs. Buttery Cream Frosting Combine confectioners' sugar, Butter Flavor Crisco and vanilla in medium mixing bowl. Slowly blend in milk to desired consistency. Beat on high speed for 5 minutes, or until smooth and creamy. Reserve 1/2 cup frosting to tint black. Tint remaining frosting orange. (One or two drops of food color can be used to tint each cup of frosting.) Frost each cupcake with orange frosting. Using a piping bag or a zipper bag with the corner cut off, pipe a spider web onto each cupcake. Insert a plastic spider ring into the center of each web.
