Prep time: 15 minutes Bake time: 45-50 minutes Makes a 9-inch pieClassic CRISCO Single Crust 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 cup corn syrup 3 tablespoons butter 3 eggs, slightly-beaten 1 cup pecan halves 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 tablespoon flour Prepare Classic CRISCO Single Crust as directed; do not bake. In a saucepan combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar and corn syrup; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add butter and stir until it melts. Gradually stir into beaten eggs. Add pecan halves. Combine 1 tablespoon sugar and flour and sprinkle evenly over bottom of pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate. Pour pecan mixture into crust. Bake at 350ºF for 45-50 minutes, until dark brown. |
