Makes 9 cookies3 cups Homemade Crisco Cookie Mix 1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Peanut Butter Frosting: 1/3 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter 1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup milk Raisins Preheat oven to 375ºF. Combine Crisco mix and flour in a bowl. Stir in peanuts. Mix egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Add to dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until dry ingredients are moistened and dough can be shaped into a ball. Divide dough into 9 equal portions. Shape each into a ball, place on a greased cookie sheet, and flatten into a 4-inch round. Bake at 375ºF for 15 minutes or until golden. Cool on racks. Far Peanut Butter Frosting, blend peanut butter, confectioners' sugar, and milk in a small bowl. Frost each cookie with a scant 2 tablespoons frosting. Decorate with raisins to make a smiling face. |
