| ORANGE COCONUT BARS |

Makes 64 bars3/4 cup Butter Flavor CRISCO 1 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1/3 cup orange juice 2 tablespoons grated orange peel 2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 cup flaked coconut Glaze: 1 cup confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons orange juice 1 teaspoon grated orange peel Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease 15-1/2 x 10-1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Set aside. In large mixing bowl cream Butter Flavor Crisco, granulated sugar, brown sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Blend in orange juice and peel. Mix in flour and baking powder. Stir in coconut. Spread in prepared pan. Bake at 350ºF for about 20 minutes, or until light golden brown and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. For glaze, blend confectioners' sugar, orange juice and peel. Spread glaze evenly over baked layer. Cut into bars, about 2 x 1 inch. |
