| OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES |

Makes 3-1/2 dozen cookies2/3 cup CRISCO Oil 1 -1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tablespoons skim milk 2 teaspoons vanilla 1 -3/4 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 2 -1/4 cups quick-cooking oats (not instant or old-fashioned) 1/4 cup dry oat bran high fiber hot cereal 1 cup raisins Heat oven to 350ºF. Oil baking sheets lightly. Combine Crisco and brown sugar in large bowl. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Blend well. Combine flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to above mixture. Mix well. Stir in oats, oat bran and raisins. Drop by slightly rounded measuring tablespoonfuls onto baking sheets. Bake at 350ºF for 9 to 10 minutes or until bottoms are lightly browned (tops will not brown). Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes. Remove to cooling rack. |
