| OATMEAL CHOCOLATE RAISIN COOKIES |

Makes about 6 Dozen Cookies1 cup Butter Flavor CRISCO 3/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar 3/4 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 2 tablespoons milk 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups quick oats (not instant or old fashioned) 2 cups chocolate-covered raisins 1 cup coarsley chopped pecans Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease baking sheet with Butter Flavor Crisco. Combine Butter Flavor Crisco, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts with spoon. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Bake at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes, or until set. Remove immediately to cooling racks. |
