Makes 3 to 4 dozen cookiesStir together: 2 cups Made-at-Home Cookie Mix 1/4 cup sifted enriched flour 3/4 cup light brown sugar 1-1/2 teaspoons soda 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon cinnamon Add: 1 egg 3 tablespoons molasses Stir vigorously. Chill dough. Roll 1/4-inch thich on floured board or pastry cloth. Cut into desired shapes with floured cookie cutter. Place on baking sheets which have been rubbed with Crisco. Bake in moderate oven, 375ºF, 8 to 10 minutes or until browned. |
