| HONEY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES |

Makes about 5 Dozen Cookies1 cup Butter Flavor Crisco all-vegetable shortening or 1 Butter Flavor Crisco stick 1 cup mild honey 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla 2 -1/4 cups whole wheat flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup peanut butter chips * Heat oven to 375ºF. Combine Butter Flavor Crisco and honey in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed until just blended. Stir in chocolate and peanut butter chips. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375ºF for 8 to 10 minutes, or until set. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to cooling rack. * You may substitute an additional 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for the peanut butter chips. |
