| BAKED APPLE CRUMBLE |

Makes 8 servingsApple Layer: 6 cups sliced, peeled Golden Delicious or Rome Beauty apples (about 2 pounds or 6 medium) 2 tablespoons orange or other fruit juice 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 3 tablespoons CRISCO Oil* Topping: 1/2 cup vanilla lowfat yogurt, divided Heat oven to 375ºF. Oil 2-quart baking dish lightly. Arrange apples evenly in dish. Drizzle with orange juice. Combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in small bowl. Mix in 3 tablespoons oil until crumbly. Spoon over apples. Bake at 375ºF for 35 minutes or until apples are tender. Do not overbake. Cool slightly. Serve warm. For optional topping, spoon one tablespoon vanilla yogurt over each serving. *Use your favourite Crisco Oil product. |
