Makes 4 to 5 dozen cookies.Stir together: 2 cups Made-at-Home Cookie Mix 1/4 cup sifted enriched flour 1/2 teaspoon soda 3/4 cup sugar Add: 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla Blend well. Roll to 1/8-inch thickness on a well floured board. Cut in various shapes. Place on baking sheets which have been rubbed with Crisco. Decorate with colored sugar. Bake in moderate oven, 375ºF, 10 to 12 minutes or until a delicate brown. Cool on baking sheet 2 to 3 minutes before removing. |
