| SPICED CARROT RAISIN LOAF |

Makes one loaf1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves 1 cup raisins 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 cup CRISCO Oil 1/3 cup milk 1 cup shredded carrots Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and cloves in medium bowl. Mix well. Stir in raisins. Bake at 350ºF for 60 to 70 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes in pan. Remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool completely before slicing. |
