Prep time: 30 minutes Rise time: 1 hour Bake time: 25-30 minutes Makes 1 coffe cake1 recipe Buttery Sweet Dough CRISCO No-Stick Cooking Spray 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts or coconut (optional) 1/3 cup Butter Flavor CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 1/3 Butter Flavor CRISCO Stick, melted Prepare dough as directed. Spray a 12-cup fluted ring pan with Crisco No Stick Cooking Spray. Set aside. Divide dough into thirty pieces with sharp knife. In small bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon. Stir in nuts. Coat each piece of dough with melted Butter Flavor Crisco, then with sugar mixture. Layer in prepared pan. Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Immediately turn into serving plate; serve warm. |
