| GRANOLA BREAD |

Makes 1 Loaf2-3/4 cups sifted flour 3/4 cup sugar 4 teaspoons baking powder 1-1/2 teaspoons salt 2 eggs, beaten 1-1/3 cups milk 1/3 cup CRISCO® all-vegetable shortening or 1/3 CRISCO Stick, melted 1-1/2 cups granola cereal 1 cup snipped pitted dried prunes (about 6 ounces) Preheat oven to 350ºF. In bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Combine eggs, milk, and melted Crisco. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just till moistened. Fold in granola cereal and snipped prunes. Turn batter into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350ºF for 65 to 70 minutes or till done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove loaf from pan. Cool thoroughly on wire rack. |
