| EASY NO KNEAD BREAD |

Makes 4 loaves5 cups warm water (110F to 115F) 2 packages (1/4 ounce each) dry yeast 1/2 cup sugar or honey 1/2 cup CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 1/2 CRISCO Stick 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons salt 12 cups flour Melted butter or margarine Pour warm water into large bowl. Add yeast; stir until dissolved. Add sugar or honey, Crisco, salt and half the flour. Using a portable electric mixer, beat on high speed for 3 minutes. Add remaining flour; stir in with spoon. Cover; let rise in warm place about 1 hour. Spoon into 4 greased 9- x 5- x 3-inch loaf pans. Cover; let rise again in warm place about 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 375ºF. Bake loaves at 375ºF for 45 minutes. Remove from pans immediately; brush with melted butter and cool on racks. Loaves may also be baked in small pans for about 30 minutes. Makes up to 7 loaves.
